For CCL The lenders we work with require your credit file to reflect a minimum of 18 months of comparable installment payment history.
The lender defines installment payments as payments made on an auto or a real estate loan. For example; when applying for a $20,000 loan amount the lender needs to see an auto or a real estate loan, of at least $20,000, with 18 payments on your credit file to satisfy this requirement.
