1999 Subaru Sambar TT2 – Manual 4WD – Street Legal – 53,945 miles
This is the newer, wider-body version of the Subaru Sambar—3.5" wider with a larger cab, more leg room, cup holders, and a driver-side airbag. The fuel‑injected rear‑mounted engine provides excellent weight distribution. Paired with a 5‑speed manual transmission plus Low gear, and push‑button 4WD located on the shifter, it’s a surprisingly capable little truck.
The fold‑down bedsides make loading easy, and the turning radius is fantastic. It’s genuinely fun to drive, great for farm use, and fully road legal. It will cruise at 65 mph without issue. Among mini trucks, the Sambar is known for having the smoothest ride thanks to coil springs on all four corners—unlike most competitors that use rear leaf springs.
A 60" zero‑turn mower fits in the bed and the truck still handled speeds comfortably.
